How long are the classes?

Each class is one year in length.

My CPR certification expires soon, how can I get it renewed?

If you took Medical Skills and became CPR certified in that class, you will have an opportunity to renew it in the junior level course, Health Science Foundations.

Do I have to take the freshman class, Medical Skills?

Medical Skills is the only class that is not a pre-requisuite to completing the program. However, students will build their friendships in this class the most and have more success as they continue the next three years together in the program.

Can you double up any of the pre-requisuite classes?

The only classes we allow to take at the same time in one school year is Health Science Foundations and the senior level class (Exercise Science/Allied Health).

Can I earn a science credit in any of the classes?

Health Science Anatomy & Physiology gives you 1 science credit

What's the difference between the Exercise Science class and the Allied Health class?

If you want to sign up for both your senior year, you can! The Exercise Science course helps you earn a Certification in Personal Training (CPT) with NASM; the Allied Health course helps you earn a Certification in Medical Assisting (CMAA).
